ATTENDANCE AND OUR SCHOOL ETHOS
At Whitefield Primary School, we follow our vision of Healthy Hearts, Healthy Bodies and Healthy Minds in everything we do, and good attendance plays a vital role in achieving this.
Being in school every day helps children develop positive routines, a strong work ethic and a growth mindset, supporting their learning, well-being and future aspirations.
Regular attendance allows pupils to enjoy and fully access the curriculum, deepen their understanding and make good progress in their learning.
It also helps them build strong friendships, develop resilience and feel a true sense of belonging within our diverse school community.
Good attendance helps children establish lifelong habits that prepare them for the challenges of secondary school, the work environment and beyond.
We ask all parents to work in partnership with us by prioritising attendance whenever possible.
If you have any concerns or need support, our team is always here to help.
Together, we can ensure that every child thrives and achieves their very best.
